Ben Russell

Photographer, Ben Russell is a life-long Brooklynite, who uses the borough as his muse. He has captured the textures, colors, stillness, and life of Brooklyn in his series called Shoot Brooklyn.
Ben grew up in Cobble Hill and now lives in Carroll Gardens with his wife, jewelry designer, Debbie Fisher, their two sons, and a rotating cast of aspiring guide dogs that Ben trains.
After decades as an editorial and corporate photographer, Ben is now devoted to teaching photography at the High School of Fashion Industries and the International Center for Photography, as well as, to his organization, Foto-Aid, a low cost photo services agency for nonprofits. He is generously donating the sale of his Shoot Brooklyn photographs to ALLINBKLYN. 100% of the proceeds (after the cost of printing) will benefit the grantmaking fund for ALLINBKLYN.
